Secret Santa Appeal

This year we are offering two different ways you can get involved.
  1. Care Packs - purchase any item from our toiletries list and drop it off at any Beyond Bank branch around Canberra and Queanbeyan from 1 December 2019.  These items are used to create care packs distributed to people we place into emergency accommodation over the following few years.  We do not accept used or opened items, hotel/motel products, medication, razors, large bulky containers or items that are not individually packaged.  For a full list, please download our Secret Santa List or request a copy via email from community@dvcs.org.au.
  2. Voucher - if you aren’t able to get to a Beyond Bank branch, or want to contribute to something different such as petrol or entertainment for children, you are welcome to purchase a voucher via our online shopping portal.  All purchases are tax deductible.
Cost:

Ranging from $10 up to $120

Our tent will include chairs, blankets, water, fruit and lollipops for when you have completed the race.

We are also happy to mind your gear while you race (please note we are not able to mind children or pets).

All runners also receive an invitation to the DVCS Supporter Drinks in November 2020.

Fundraisers who reach a minimum target of $500 will also receive a complimentary DVCS Running Singlet, available on the day.

The highest fundraiser will receive two complimentary tickets to the DVCS Gala Ball on Saturday 16 May 2020.

There might even be some encouraging DVCS supporters on the track to help keep you motivated (for the 5km and 10km races only).

All DVCS runners are invited to be part of our exclusive DVCS Runners Closed Facebook group to keep each other motivated and share training tips!

All the money raised by our runners will be used to support our payment of emergency accommodation and security upgrades for those subjected to violence in the ACT community.
